Turbine Flow Meter - High-Quality Products
The volumetric in-line sensors used to detect liquid or gas flow rates are called turbine flow meters. They detect low to medium flow rates, clean, low corrosive, and viscosity fluids. A turbine flowmeter can be divided into two types: a gas turbine flowmeter and a fluid turbine flowmeter. Silver Automation Instruments supplies electronic turbine meters with many outputs such as frequency, current, batch dispensing, or PLC. It can measure fuel, gasoline, diesel, and water.
It uses simple, well-understood technology. The measured medium is being sent to the sensor body. This causes the rotor to rotate at a speed that is proportional to its flow rate and velocity. An alternating current voltage pulse is generated as each blade passes through a magnetic field created by the flow meter's magnet pickup.
