How to improve ergonomics in a van cabin?

Or, if that’s not possible, think about replacing car seats with more comfortable ones. If you need van ergonomics, it makes sense to think about proper space and seat layout. For work vehicles, a good option would be flip and fold van seats, which you can fold away and bring back out. They are also adjustable, for example the driver can set the seat so the wheel, seat and pedals work like one line without strain in the back and shoulders.

I thought there were different vehicles for transporting cargo and passengers, with different setups accordingly. Otherwise it just becomes really uncomfortable. If you’re working in a transport company, maybe it’s worth discussing having separate vehicles for each task.

The thing is, I don’t always do the same kind of transport. And I can’t always know far in advance what I’ll have to carry. Sometimes it’s passengers, sometimes it’s cargo. For one you need seats, for the other you need more space. And every time it’s basically Tetris, trying to fit everything inside the van.
