Set Date/Time format:
In 12 Hour format the hours will be displayed as 1 through 12 with “a.m.” and “p.m.”
displayed after the time (ex. 1:00p.m.). In 24 hour format the hours will be displayed as 00 through 23 (ex. 13:00).

Con Ed bill hit $420 this month—never over $250 before. I’m in the Bronx, two kids, full-time job. HEAP season isn’t open yet. What NY programs work in summer for electric?

NY has the Energy Affordability Program (EAP) through Con Ed that caps bills at 6% of income year-round, plus a one-time $200 credit if you’re behind. My coworker enrolled in June and her August bill dropped to $180. You need last 30 days’ pay stubs, Con Ed account number, and DSS can verify kids for extra allowance. The state site lists every utility’s version: https://www.utilityassistance.org/ny/ – click your provider, fill the short form, and Con Ed mails the confirmation in 10 days. No waiting for winter.
