Knife market in CS2 is honestly its own thing compared to the rest of the skins. Picked up a Karambit a while back thinking I understood pricing and ended up paying more than I should have because I did not check the pattern index properly. Fade percentage alone can shift the price by a significant amount and some finishes like Case Hardened have specific patterns that collectors specifically hunt for. Bookmarked https://befitnatic.com/cs2-wiki-knife-database-models-finishes-and-market-values/ after that mistake and it has a solid breakdown of every model with finish details and what drives value on each one. Went back to it before my next couple of purchases and it saved me from making the same kind of error twice
