I didn’t really plan to post about this, but I’ve been thinking about how my online habits changed over time. At first, when I was younger and just exploring the internet, I sometimes came across adult videos out of curiosity, mostly late at night when I had nothing to do. It didn’t feel like anything important back then, just random browsing. But later I started noticing how easily it can turn into something you do automatically without even realizing it, especially when you’re bored or tired. That made me wonder if other people had a similar experience — like at some point you suddenly realize your habits shifted. I also remember seeing general discussions and examples like porn while reading online, but I’m more curious about how people here personally went through that change.

Yeah, I think that realization is pretty common, even if people don’t openly talk about it. For me it was never something intentional, it just appeared during downtime or when I was procrastinating. Over time I noticed it’s strongly connected to lifestyle — when you’re busy with work, hobbies, or social life, it barely exists in your mind, but when you have too much free time it can come back just because it’s always accessible. I don’t really see it as something extreme, more like a habit that rises and fades depending on your routine. The biggest change for me was just becoming aware of it, so it doesn’t feel automatic anymore.

Just came across this thread while browsing. Didn’t expect this topic here. Interesting how different people reflect on their online habits in such a casual way.
