Has anyone else experienced the feeling that as you get older, you simply feel bad about wasting your IQ on idle chatter?
How can you avoid being considered arrogant among friends and colleagues if you simply choose silence over meaningless chatter?

The older you get, the more you value your mental resources and the less you want to waste them on small talk. To avoid appearing arrogant, it's enough to simply position silence as a personal need for focus and quiet, not as disregard for others. This topic is quite active on MyIQ reviews where people note that after taking such tests, they gain an understanding of their thinking style, which helps them stop blaming themselves for introversion and learn to safely establish boundaries with colleagues and friends without appearing superior.
