I have been trying to find a VPN for my iPhone that feels practical for everyday use rather than something I need to constantly configure. Public Wi-Fi is one reason I am looking, but I also care about browsing and streaming without making the phone feel harder to use. I noticed the iOS page for https://toggle.org/vpn-for-ios mentions one-tap connection, automatic protection on Wi-Fi, and a kill switch. I am curious whether those features are actually useful in normal daily use, especially when moving between different connections.

I looked into that recently because I wanted the same kind of setup on an iPhone without spending ages going through settings. The page for Toggle explains the iOS app in fairly practical terms, including one-tap connection, automatic Wi-Fi protection, split tunneling and a kill switch. It also mentions a no-logs policy and support for both iPhone and iPad. I liked that the features were described around ordinary use rather than only technical details. For me, having the important privacy and connection options together makes it easier to understand what I would actually be getting.
