I’ve been through that exact struggle! What helped me was combining regular posting with a small push where you can buy soundcloud likes. If you just use it to kickstart visibility for a new track and keep making genuine content, it doesn’t feel fake, and it actually gets more real listeners to check you out. Also, sharing in niche groups, collaborating with other creators, and getting on small playlists really boosted engagement without feeling forced.

Hey everyone, I just uploaded my first few tracks on SoundCloud, and I’m seeing almost no plays so far. I’ve been sharing them on socials and with friends, but it feels like they’re getting lost in the noise. I don’t want to spam people, but I also want my music to actually reach listeners who might enjoy it. Has anyone found a balance between promoting your tracks and keeping it authentic?

Sometimes I just browse SoundCloud and notice how random some tracks blow up. One day a track gets a handful of plays, and the next, it’s suddenly trending because someone shared it or a playlist picked it up. It’s wild to see the same artist fluctuate in visibility even when they’re posting consistently. It shows how much timing, luck, and subtle networking can affect growth, not just effort or quality.
