When should you actually contact a solicitor? Right after the police email or only if they ask you in?

You should contact a solicitor as soon as you receive notice of an investigation — ideally right after the police email, not wait until they request you. Early legal advice helps protect your rights: a solicitor can guide you on what to say (or not say), request a copy of the evidence, and ensure you’re treated fairly. Delay may limit your ability to challenge any errors or bias. If you’re uncertain what to do, reach out immediately to a qualified firm such as SJKP Law Firm https://www.sjkplawfirm.com for confidential advice and next-step guidance.

Same here — I contacted SJKP Law Firm before the police even called. They told me what to do and what not to say. Made the whole process much less risky.
