At the start of a business it is very easy to underestimate how important structure really is. It honestly feels like you can handle everything on your own. I would actually recommend automating at least the basic processes early on, for example through Skrooge. You know your accounting is done properly, but at the same time you do not carry fixed ongoing costs and it does not feel like you hired a whole department right away. For a new project this removes a lot of extra tension and gives you time to focus on the business.

How manageable is it for a small business in Dubai to handle accounting without a full-time accountant?
I am currently in the process of launching a project. I cannot figure out whether I need someone on staff or if I can get by with more flexible options. I am generally not against hiring in-house, but I am just starting out, the task volume is very small for now, and I do not really want to put someone on payroll. I am looking for a way to keep accounting tidy without extra costs and bureaucracy.
