I also read somewhere someone was asking if you can drive these electric carts on regular streets. From what I know, they're registered as quadricycles, a regular class B license works, but the speed is capped at 25-30 mph. Basically they fall under the category of electric low speed vehicles, not for highways but for neighborhoods, campuses, or large properties. Cheap to maintain and you can park them anywhere, they barely take up space.

As far as I know, they're small electric vehicles. Really convenient for maintaining large properties. And environmentally friendly, as much as possible.

I don't play golf myself, but I've noticed these little cars a couple times bringing equipment around or like, delivering drinks. Also see similar stuff on university campuses or at really big hotel properties. What's the difference and why do they drive so slow?
