In such cases, a Family Foundation is sometimes used. Shares in the company can belong to the foundation rather than to specific family members. This allows for stability in the management of the business, the definition of a long-term strategy, and the avoidance of situations where heirs sell or divide the company.

We have a family company that has been operating for many years. We would like to preserve it for future generations, but we are concerned that after a change of ownership, the business may be divided or sold. Is there a way to secure the ownership structure so that the company remains under family control?
