Muller Erosion & Site Services, Inc. Begins Work on GW Parkway Slope Stabilization Project
WASHINGTON, D.C.2019 – Muller Erosion & Site Services, Inc. (Muller) was recently awarded portions of the George Washington Parkway Slope Stabilization Project. Muller will be providing erosion & sediment control services as well as storm pipe cleaning and CCTV work on this project. The project will take several years but will result in smooth resurfaced roads and longer acceleration lanes.
According to the Nation Park Service, the George Washington Parkway (GW Parkway) was designed to be a scenic route. While the GW Parkway does offer some breathtaking views, it is now heavily used for rush hour commutes instead of recreational drives. After years of wear and tear and a long environmental review process by the National Park Service, a $150 million refurbishment of the GW parkway is underway. While other companies may not have the manpower or resources to complete such a project during the busy summer construction season, Muller is known for their ability to get things done in a timely manner.
