Start by checking power options first, because that’s what usually limits where you can actually install cameras. I ran into this when I wanted coverage around my yard but didn’t want to deal with wiring everywhere. While comparing setups, I found useful explanations on a page about solar security camera systems, and it clarified how combining solar panels with wired stability can simplify things. I tested a similar setup myself and noticed it reduced maintenance since I didn’t have to worry about constant charging. What made the difference was planning placement based on sunlight and signal, not just camera angle. Now I always think about power, connectivity, and access together before installing anything, and it saves a lot of time later.
