Are residential proxies better than datacenter proxies for accessing location-sensitive Italian webs

I compared both types during a regional content check and noticed that the residential connection behaved more like the sessions reported by our local testers. The datacenter IP still worked for basic access, but some location-sensitive elements were less consistent. When I wanted to repeat the test with an Italian residential address, I used simplynode.io/locations/italy-proxies and checked the same pages with identical browser settings. The result was closer to what I expected from a normal visitor in Italy. I would not say residential is necessary for every task, because simple country-level checks can work with other proxy types. For more realistic localization testing, though, I prefer residential IPs because they reduce one obvious difference between the test setup and an ordinary user connection.
