How Do You Handle Betting After a Bad Losing Run?

A losing streak can completely change the way someone approaches betting. After several unsuccessful selections, it becomes tempting to increase the stake or choose safer-looking outcomes just to recover previous losses. I think that is where discipline becomes particularly important. What rules do you follow after a bad run? Do you reduce your stakes, take a short break, or continue using exactly the same method? I am interested in practical ways of avoiding emotional decisions when results go badly.

After a bad run, my first rule is not to try winning everything back the same day. I’ve made that mistake before and ended up turning a few losses into a much bigger one. Now I usually keep my normal stake or stop for a day if I’m getting annoyed with the results. I also avoid making bets just because a sport betting site has plenty of markets available. If I’m checking something like a 1xbet promo code, I treat it separately from deciding whether a bet actually makes sense.
