I first became curious about Atomic Wallet when I was trying to organize my cryptocurrency holdings more efficiently. I wasn't looking for an advanced trading platform because most of my needs were fairly basic: keeping different assets safe, checking balances, sending and receiving funds and occasionally exchanging one coin for another. I downloaded the wallet and started by creating it and making a small transfer. Before doing anything else, I took care of the backup phrase because I understood that the wallet is non-custodial and I am responsible for protecting my access information. Once the first transaction was completed, I began adding some of my other assets. The portfolio screen immediately became useful because it showed everything together and allowed me to sort the holdings by amount and value. I then decided to test the swap function with a small amount. I liked being able to select the pair and review the expected result and network fee before approving the transaction. That was more convenient than moving the funds to another platform just to make a basic exchange. I also checked the staking section and looked at which cryptocurrencies were supported there. https://atomicwallet.io/ became particularly convenient for me because I could use it both for everyday transactions and for keeping an overview of longer-term holdings. I still approach crypto operations carefully and don't make decisions based only on what an interface displays, but the application has made the practical side of managing several assets much easier. I now have a clearer picture of my portfolio and fewer unnecessary transfers between services.
