City Love Salon and Barbershop is moving to a new location

Customers looking for full salon and barber services in Long Beach CA now have one more option as City Love Salon and Barbershop is moving to the newly renovating 1900 Ocean Blvd. While making the announcement, the Salon owners Bryan and Brittany Castillo said they are excited to be moving to the new area.

According to the business owners, City Love will be opening its new location this March. They are moving from their first location 4th Street and Cherry Avenue. The new location is a straight down Cherry to the oceanfront property of 1900 ocean. Bryan and Brittany Castillo say they are taking part in the upgrades of the building, adding that they are excited to be opening a beautiful salon and barbershop with ocean views.

Their move to a location which they are describing as their best location is coming after opening their first shop in 2015 when great opportunities came knocking. They are grateful to Lyon Company for what they describe as a dream entity. “The Lyon Company has been a dream to work with, both at the downtown location and now here. We will still be providing exceptional services while adding luxurious updates,” said the owners, while promising to maintain and even greatly improve their customers experience.

Located on the second level, the new City Love Salon and Barbershop will have a new top of the line Japanese salon seating and equipment with custom cabinetry. Also, there will be plants that create a soothing respite in the heart of the city. The new location will be across from the restaurant Plunge, with panoramic views of Long Beach Harbor.

Bryan and Brittany Castello could not hide their joy and excitement about this development. “We at City Love are beyond ecstatic to bring our talents to the beautiful 1900 ocean beach club. We absolutely appreciated the business that we gained at 4th and cherry and will always have love and respect for our fellow “Retro row” and 4th street corridor businesses. Moving into 1900 ocean is an absolute dream come true, with ocean views, a brand-new design and plenty of amenities for our clients to enjoy, this is an offer we could not pass up. We look forward to enjoying this new space with our staff and clients and cannot wait to show you,” said Bryan and Brittany Castello.

It is not just the owners of the salon and barbershop who are excited about the move; the retail partners are also hailing the move. “1900 Ocean Beach Club is an iconic Long Beach retail community. When we set out looking for retail partners, we knew we wanted someone with authentic Long Beach roots. City Love was a no-brainer for us and we’re excited to bring one of the best barber shops in all of Long Beach to 1900 Ocean,” said Lyon Living, a City Love retail partner.

Bryan and Brittany Castillo are grateful to the customers and everyone who have stood by them. “Thank you for helping us thrive, now come meet us at Happy Hour for a sunset drink and blow-dry,” said Bryan and Brittany Castillo.
