I’d already sent a few applications and was getting tired of opening a vacancy only to find out that the location or language requirements didn’t work for me. I was looking for a job in gambling, so I tried SpinHire. I filtered the listings by countries and languages I needed, and the whole list became much more manageable. After that I just checked the actual requirements instead of clicking through random jobs.
One position looked like a really good match, so I sent my CV. They got back to me pretty quickly, then I had a couple of normal interviews and a chat with the manager. Eventually I got the offer. The search still took some time, obviously, but at least I wasn’t wasting hours on vacancies that didn’t fit me from the start.
