How to manage your betting bankroll effectively

Bankroll management feels easy in theory but hard in practice. How do you decide how much to bet per game? Do you use percentages, fixed amounts, or another method? How do you adjust when your bankroll grows or shrinks? What tips do you use to avoid chasing losses or betting impulsively? I’d like to hear practical advice that actually works.

Bankroll management is definitely more psychological than mathematical. I personally use a sliding scale based on confidence, usually between 1 and 3 units. If I’m not 100% sure about a match, I simply don’t touch it. Chasing losses is a trap I fell into early on, so now I have a rule: if I lose two bets in a row, I close all apps for 24 hours. I find that using the 1xBet mobile download makes it easier to set deposit limits directly in the settings, which adds an extra layer of discipline when emotions start running high after a bad beat.
