I’ve been working with digital growth and SEO analytics for a while, but recently I started noticing how search is shifting toward AI-driven systems instead of traditional rankings. That made me look for tools that can actually show how brands are positioned inside AI answers, not just Google SERPs. CompetLab caught my attention because it focuses on competitive intelligence and AI visibility tracking across different models and environments. I tested it by analyzing a few competitors in my niche and comparing how often they appear in AI-generated responses. The insights were much more dynamic than standard rank tracking tools, especially when it comes to content structure and authority signals. I used ai ranks as a reference point to understand how positioning changes across different prompts and systems. It helped me realize that visibility is no longer static but constantly shifting depending on context and query structure. Overall, the platform gave me a new way to think about rankings in the AI era.
