During the final review of an email template, I noticed that I had never checked how its content looked without images, colors and other design elements. Since some recipients may view messages in different formats, I wanted to prepare a clean plain-text version as well. Instead of manually rewriting the whole email, I decided to use Selzy’s HTML to Email Converter. I pasted the existing HTML into the input field and let the tool process it. Within seconds, I received a readable text version that was much easier to inspect than the original code. I could immediately identify whether the important parts of the campaign were still present, including the offer, links and terms. One of the things I appreciated about https://selzy.com/en/free-tools/html-to-email/ was how little technical knowledge was required. I simply followed the basic process: paste the HTML, convert it and preview the extracted text before copying it. I used the result to check whether any sentences were confusing when the formatting was removed and whether any essential information had been hidden inside design elements. The converter can also be useful for developers and designers who need to verify that the actual email content has been extracted correctly from a template. For my own work, it was mainly a quick pre-send quality check. I did not have to open the code editor or remove tags manually, which saved quite a bit of time. After comparing the original design with the plain-text version, I made a few minor edits to improve clarity and ran the conversion once more. The final result looked much cleaner, and I felt more confident that the message would make sense regardless of how it was displayed.
