The Various Industrial Uses of Conveyor Belts

photo

Materials can be moved from one place to another using conveyor belts, which are generally wide belts attached to endless loops. The wide belts are usually attached to rotating rotors powered by electric motors. They are made of numerous layers of rubber, one of which shapes the belt and the other allows it to be transported easily.

There are many applications for conveyor belts, including public transportation, warehouses, factories, and grocery stores. Through the use of mounts in the belt or frictional forces, it enables products and raw materials to be transported from one place to another. Workers used to travel from one place to another to move raw materials and products in the past. This resulted in additional stress and loss of efficient time. Raw materials and products are delivered to the necessary locations with the help of conveyor belts. Conveyor belts can handle both light and heavy loads.

Conveyor belts have different uses

These rubber belts can be used for a variety of purposes, some of the most important of which are as follows.

Materials are transported into and out of various processing units in the manufacturing industry by this belt. In food processing plants, it is used for transporting cooking products, sealing the products, and finally packaging them. Because these belts are used for all transportation purposes, they help to save a lot of time and energy. Workers can channel their energy and time into other higher-level tasks.

Various heavy industries also use these rubber belts to move raw materials from one point to another. By using this method, worker injuries are substantially reduced. Materials can be transported in a straight line or over elevations and changes in direction.

Various heavy materials are also loaded or offloaded from trucks using conveyor belts in ware houses.

Nowadays, most airports also use rubber belts for delivering luggage to customers.

Also, walkalators find wide application in shopping malls as they transport people between places via moving walkways. Walkalators are also found in most airports to move people from one place to another.

A slow-moving conveyor belt is used in bakeries to move food through an oven for cooking, and it is even used in grocery stores to move items to the counter.

In most department stores, escalators are used to move people from floor to floor. This rubber belt is widely used in escalators.

There are various types of conveyor belts. Heavy duty belts are used to transport materials in a coal mine and light duty belts are used in food processing units and so forth. Rubber belts are designed in specific sizes for different applications. Different speeds are applied based on the application.

50P3 Elevator Belts

The 50P3 (50F3) elevator traction steel belt can be used as a replacement belt for elevators, lifts, and hoists. Compared to conventional steel cables, flat steel belts with a polyurethane coating are stronger and more flexible. Unlike traditional cables, belts do not require any additional lubrication, so they are environmentally friendly. In addition to taking up less space than traditional cables, belts reduce operating costs. Custom sizes [lengths and widths] can be provided upon request.

The traction elevator belt is composed of two components: a polyurethane body and steel tensile cord. The polyurethane body is extremely wear and fatigue resistant, and is highly flexible. Steel tensile cords provide high flexibility, accuracy, and a long service life.

60P3 Elevator Belts

As a replacement belt for elevators, lifts, and hoists, 60P3 ( 60F3 AAA717AD1 | AAA717R1 ) steel flat belts provide superior ride comfort and quiet operation. They are stronger and more flexible than conventional steel cables. Since belts do not require additional lubrication, they are environmentally friendly and they take up less space than traditional cables. They also reduce operating costs. Custom sizes [lengths and widths] can be ordered on request.

An elevator belt consists of two main components: a polyurethane body and a steel tensile cord. Polyurethane bodies are extremely wear and fatigue resistant while steel tensile cords provide long life and high flexibility.
