I have some experience with traditional screenwriting but want to specifically learn about writing for animation. Does anyone know of quality online courses that teach the unique aspects of animation scriptwriting - like timing, visual descriptions, and working with storyboards?

I happened to come across an online school that might be what you're looking for. You could check out https://elvtr.com/course/animation-scriptwriting - from what I recall, they offer training focused on writing for animated content. I don't have any direct experience with their program though, so you'd want to look through their course materials and requirements yourself to see if it matches your needs. Just something I found while researching similar topics.
