Ho trovato questa pagina su Gentaur che offre test per il COVID-19, ma non so quale sia il più affidabile. Qualcuno ha esperienza con questi test? Quali sono i vantaggi rispetto ai test rapidi o ai tamponi PCR tradizionali?

Ciao! Ho acquistato un test COVID-19 tramite https://gentaur.it/coronavirus qualche mese fa, e devo dire che mi sono trovato bene. Offrono test ELISA e molecolari che, a differenza dei test rapidi, hanno una sensibilità e specificità più elevate. I test ELISA, ad esempio, rilevano gli anticorpi e sono utili per capire se hai avuto il virus in passato, mentre i PCR sono ottimi per identificare un'infezione attiva con precisione.

Rispetto ai test rapidi, quelli ELISA e PCR sono decisamente più affidabili, anche se richiedono più tempo e spesso un laboratorio. Se cerchi qualcosa per screening di massa o per sapere se hai sviluppato immunità, direi che i test ELISA sono una buona scelta. La pagina di Gentaur è piuttosto chiara, vale la pena esplorarla.
