Just my thoughts. Life probably wasn’t easier back then, but even now with all this tech and computers, it doesn’t exactly feel simpler either. Still, society has access to so many things now, tons of tech that really does make life easier. But if we’ve made it this far in our development, then I guess we were doing just fine before too?

Not really sure what you’re trying to get at with your thoughts. Back then people had one kind of needs, now we have different ones. Life wasn’t worse or better, it was just different. And people always found a way, just because we’re good at adapting.

I think people lived just fine back then. Just differently. Life was more local, slower, and depended on face-to-face communication and physical resources. Now we’ve got phones, computers, and all kinds of gadgets everywhere https://www.tekedia.com/the-backbone-of-modern-life-how-computers-power-everything/ that help us with so many things. Back then, there were other tools. Maybe things were less convenient, but there was definitely more involvement and awareness.
