Thinking about replacing the siding on my two-story house this summer. Curious if anyone here knows how long the whole process usually takes in Boston, especially if the weather’s decent? Trying to plan it around other renovations.

Good timing with summer, curious about this too.

The timeframe can really depend on the size of your house and the company you choose. I looked up https://ubrothersconstruction.com/l-home-renovation-boston siding boston before I started and that gave me a better idea of the local contractors and their average timelines. For my two-story colonial, it took just under a week, including removal of the old siding, repairs to the base layer, and installation of the new material. The crew worked efficiently and even handled the cleanup every day. One tip: try to book early in the season, because the good companies tend to get swamped by mid-summer. Also, check if they offer a warranty—it adds peace of mind in case anything goes wrong.
