Creating a browser extension can be an incredibly rewarding experience to get the smoothest geometry dash lite experience possible, and customizing keyboard shortcuts can save a lot of time and increase productivity.

It’s kinda awesome how personal browser extensions can get. Like, stuff no one else might care about ends up saving you hours over time. Little tools, big difference.

Yeah, I played around with hotkeys in an extension I made for quickly switching between Google accounts. The tricky part is making sure your commands are properly defined in the manifest and that you’re handling focus correctly. Otherwise things get weird fast. I picked up a bunch of that from https://5ly.co/browser-extension-development/ — it’s got clear examples for setting up commands and debugging them when they clash with browser defaults.

Lately I’ve been trying to create a browser extension that lets me set custom keyboard shortcuts for specific sites, like jumping to search bars or submitting forms. I hate reaching for the mouse all the time. I’ve got some shortcuts working, but they don’t always behave right across different tabs. Anyone else dealt with that kind of thing?
