Hi! I'm in need of legal support for a personal matter (nothing too complex), but I’m not sure where to start. Do you recommend going with a local lawyer or trying a remote legal service?

Hi! If it’s not too complex, I’d definitely recommend checking out 99 Legal. They work with vetted law firms like Kremenchuker Law Group, and you can get professional advice remotely without the hassle of finding someone locally. I used them for a personal legal matter, and it was super easy to get matched with a qualified attorney who knew exactly what to do. Plus, you save time and often money going the remote route.

I’ve done both—worked with a local lawyer and used online services—and honestly, it depends on your comfort level and the nature of your issue. If it’s something that doesn’t require court appearances or a lot of paperwork in person, remote legal services can be a convenient and affordable choice. But if you want that face-to-face connection or live in an area with specific legal quirks, a local lawyer might give you more peace of mind.
