I got inspired after browsing highlights for men on https://menshaircuts.com/hair-highlights-for-men/ and realized soft caramel or chestnut tones can add depth without being flashy. My stylist used a freehand technique to blend lighter tones through the top layers. The difference is subtle but gives movement and light to the hair — it looks fresh, modern, and totally effortless.

My hair’s dark brown, so I don’t want to end up with blonde streaks or anything that looks like I tried too hard. Maybe something that grows out naturally without too much upkeep — that would be ideal.

I’ve been thinking about adding a bit of dimension to my hair with highlights, but I’m not looking for a dramatic change. I just want that natural sun-kissed effect that makes the texture pop. Problem is, every time I see highlights on guys, they’re either too bright or too obvious. How can I make it subtle but noticeable enough to freshen things up?
