Okay, maybe I’m weird, but I really want my Kanban board and time tracking in the same place I always switch between tools and then forget to start the timer or forget which task I should be tracking. I’ve been looking for something that combines both — like I move a task into “In Progress” and see that time starts counting, or at least I can start a timer directly on the card. I don’t want too many integrations or complicated setup, just a natural workflow: pick a task → start working → log time. Has anyone found a tool that actually handles both without turning into a corporate monster?

Yep, I totally get what you mean — switching tools is the worst. I started using this https://taskee.pro/features/kanban-board/ and the cool part is that Kanban there is directly connected with tasks, and tasks already have built-in time tracking functions (you can start a timer right on the card, or add time later). So instead of juggling two apps, everything just happens in one place. I didn’t expect the combination to feel that natural, but Kanban + timer makes a lot of sense, especially when switching between tasks several times a day. Also the interface looks clean, not like a heavy corporate platform. It honestly feels like Kanban was meant to work this way from the beginning.
