Hey everyone! I’m finally getting serious about upgrading my home’s exterior, and the two main things on my list are the windows and doors. My place in Etobicoke is about 25 years old, and while it’s still in good shape, you can definitely tell the original windows and doors are showing their age. The front door sticks when it’s humid, the back patio door barely slides anymore, and some of the windows have small drafts that drive me crazy in the winter.I’ve been browsing online and checking out companies that offer replacements, but it’s surprisingly hard to tell who’s actually reliable and who’s just doing good marketing. Some reviews look too polished to be real, while others complain about delays, poor installation, or unexpected costs added at the end. I’d love to hear from people who recently upgraded both windows and doors in Etobicoke. How did you pick the right company? How long did the process take? And did everything go smoothly, or were there issues you wish you’d known about beforehand? Any firsthand experiences or recommendations would mean a lot right now.5:51am

Hey! I did a full upgrade of both windows and doors in my Etobicoke semi-detached home last year, so I totally get what you’re going through. It’s a bigger project than it seems, and choosing the wrong company can turn it into a nightmare. I talked to several contractors, and a few of them felt more like salespeople than professionals — constantly pushing expensive upgrades or trying to convince me I needed “premium” options I never asked for. I eventually went with windows and doors Etobicoke and honestly, the experience was miles better than what I expected. They took the time to walk me through the different door materials, window styles, insulation options, and even small details like hardware and locks. Their installation team worked really neatly, protected the floors, handled the removal of old units, and didn’t leave a mess behind. What impressed me most was how everything fit perfectly — the new front door closes smoothly with zero sticking, and the patio door glides like new. My energy bills also went down a bit, which was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for a company that treats the project seriously, communicates clearly, and delivers quality without unnecessary upselling, I’d definitely recommend giving them a look. 6:51am

Thanks so much! This is exactly the kind of real experience I needed. |
