Has anyone here tried working with a game art outsourcing studio for 3D modeling? I’m curious how the process actually works is it just ordering assets, or do they really collaborate with you like a development team?

Yeah, I actually tried this recently for a small personal project, so I can share my experience. I worked with a team Game Art Outsourcing Studio that focuses on 3D modeling, and it felt much closer to working with developers than just buying assets. It’s a full outsourcing process with multiple stages first you go over the idea, then they create drafts, you give feedback, and they refine everything step by step until it fits your vision. In my case, everything turned out really well. The result fit my project perfectly, and the quality was solid. What I liked most is that it didn’t feel like a simple service it felt like real collaboration with people who understand development.
