I was reading an article the other day about how certain plant lineages are disappearing because of mass commercialization. It made me realize how important it is to support "seed banks" and shops that focus on preserving original landraces and classic hybrids. I’m looking to start a "library" of sorts for my own personal interest. Does anyone here know where I can find a wide selection of cannabis seeds that aren't just the basic "mainstream" stuff you see everywhere? I’m looking for rare strains, maybe some old-school Dutch or US genetics that are hard to find in standard local shops. I'm specifically looking for an online store with international shipping options.

I totally agree with your philosophy on preservation. It’s like collecting rare coins or stamps, but with biological history! If you want a deep dive into different genetic profiles, you should look for a specialized cannabis seed shop that acts as a hub for multiple international breeders. There’s a European one I use frequently that has a really clean interface and lists the full history of each strain. It’s been my go-to because they update their stock constantly with the latest releases from big names like Barney’s Farm or Royal Queen Seeds. It’s a great way to build a "genetic library" without having to jump between ten different websites.

That sounds like a perfect resource for my project, thanks for the recommendation!
