My fear is that I'm just an ordinary person, and I assume all of you are too. I'm not some strategically important facility. No matter how much we're told that people's safety is the top priority, I don't really believe it, and there have been plenty of situations that convinced me of that. If something actually happens, nobody is going to protect me personally. They'll be protecting important facilities instead. Maybe that's the right approach, but what am I supposed to do then? Me and everyone else. The biggest threat I see is drones. It probably won't save me, but at least for my own peace of mind I look into what kinds of protection exist and what technologies are out there. There are even entire companies like EAS https://eascompany.uz/en/ that develop comprehensive solutions against these kinds of aerial threats. It's not just signal jammers or detection systems. I read about their Counter-UAS solutions, where they combine detection, identification, tracking, and neutralization into one system. Honestly, it's some pretty serious technology that can protect against threats from the air. The only question is, who and what does it actually protect? I'd rather not think about things like this at all, but it feels like reality has reached a point where it's no longer possible to just ignore what's happening. Jun 25, 2026 ( 1 post ) 6/25/2026

You know, I'm the kind of person who's not really interested in big business, politics, or world events. I don't even read the news. Not because I don't want to know what's going on, but because all that news starts affecting me so much that I decided to distance myself from it a bit. So here's my point, I'm just a person who wants to live my life as peacefully as possible. And I've always been told from every direction that everything is calm, safe, and under control. But the further things go, the more I find myself wondering, is that actually true? Especially considering everything that's happened in the world over the last few years. Is there really any such thing as safety anymore? People in many countries and cities go to bed thinking they might not wake up because something could easily hit their home. And these aren't important or strategic facilities, they're residential buildings. Can we really talk about safety in a situation like that? |
