Hi guys! We recently set up a small corporate entity in Dubai mainland, and our manager suggested we outsource our government relations work to an agency rather than hiring a full-time in-house Public Relations Officer (PRO). Since we are a small team, I’m trying to understand if outsourcing is really worth the cost and what tasks they usually cover. Can someone explain what is typically included in PRO services in the UAE?

Outsourcing your government liaison work is almost always cheaper than paying a full-time salary, visa, and benefits for an internal officer, especially for small setups. Professional agencies manage everything from trade license renewals, work permit quotas, and Ministry of Labour approvals to medical typing and Emirates ID processing for employees. Check out this overview on  PRO services in the UAE to see the exact range of government tasks they handle on a daily basis. It saves a massive amount of time!

That makes total sense, really appreciate the explanation!
