Hi everyone! I’m looking for a reliable VPN for my Android phone because I’ve started doing most of my banking and work communication directly from my mobile. Lately, I’ve been using public Wi-Fi quite often — especially in coffee shops — and I’m starting to get worried. A friend told me it’s pretty easy for hackers to intercept data on open networks, and the last thing I need is trouble with my bank accounts or email.
I’ve looked up a bunch of VPN apps in the Play Market, but there are way too many. Some have great ratings but terrible reviews, others are super popular but ask for suspicious permissions. I don’t want to install something random that ends up making things worse. If anyone here uses a trustworthy VPN on Android for banking or sensitive tasks, I’d love your suggestions and real experiences.

I totally get your concern — mobile banking on public Wi-Fi is risky without proper protection. I had a similar situation when I started using my phone for work while traveling between cafés and coworking spaces. After reading a ton of questionable reviews, I finally found a VPN that actually performs well on Android.
The one I’ve stuck with is vpn for android It’s fast, simple, and what matters most — secure. The connection stays stable, and I haven’t had any weird login warnings or suspicious activity since using it. The app is easy to navigate, even if you're not tech-savvy, and switching servers takes just one tap. It also works great when accessing region-restricted apps or websites. If you want a VPN that keeps your Android banking and communication safe, this is definitely worth trying.
