Looking for a simple browser game to replace mobile scrolling

Hey everyone, I’ve been noticing that I spend way too much time just scrolling on my phone during breaks or in the evening without even realizing it. I tried switching to mobile games, but most of them either become too addictive in a bad way or force constant ads and purchases, which honestly kills the mood. I’m now looking for something very simple in the browser that I can open quickly, play for a few minutes, and then close without feeling like I’m stuck in some long gaming session. Ideally something lightweight, no installation, no registration, just instant fun. Has anyone found something like that recently?

Yeah, I went through almost the exact same phase a while ago, especially when I realized I was wasting time switching between apps without actually enjoying anything. What helped me was moving away from mobile apps entirely and focusing on simple browser-based games that don’t require setup. One of the things I ended up using is rooftoprun.net  which is basically a fast-paced runner-style game that starts instantly in your browser. There’s no login, no installation, and no unnecessary menus, you just open it and start playing immediately. What I personally like is that each run is short but still challenging enough that you naturally want to try again and improve your timing. It’s not overwhelming, and it actually works really well for replacing mindless scrolling because you still feel engaged but not overloaded. It became kind of my quick reset activity when I need a short break without falling into endless content feeds.

Thanks, that actually sounds like a perfect replacement for what I’m doing now.
