Hi everyone! Need some collective wisdom regarding our search campaigns. We run a project that relies heavily on a steady stream of incoming leads and commercial orders. The ads are running, but efficiency is slowly dropping—acquisition costs are rising, and lead quality is getting worse. I suspect the core issue is a messy account structure and poorly configured conversion goals, causing Google's algorithms to optimize for the wrong actions. Has anyone gone through a comprehensive account audit and restructuring? How do you properly organize search, Performance Max, and other formats so they actually drive profit instead of just empty impressions?

Hey! That is a textbook diagnosis—if your conversion goals are set up incorrectly in your analytics, automated Google strategies will just optimize for random button clicks and burn through your entire budget. When we audited our own account, we found zero negative keyword lists, mixed regional settings, and a total structural mess. We ended up handing it over to a specialized team focusing on google ads management, complete with proper GA4 tracking, UTM tagging, and call tracking integration. They segmented everything properly, matched the right ad formats to our specific business goals (from search to shopping and display), and finally brought clarity to our metrics. Without a solid structure and clean conversion tracking, online advertising is just an expensive guessing game!

Appreciate you sharing your experience, it's so much clearer now what needs to be fixed first!
