I need some advice. My friend in New York helped me purchase musical instruments (guitars, microphones, and speakers) for a school in Tunisia. Everything is packed, but we are wondering how to best transport it all. We've heard of companies that handle such shipments, but this is our first time doing this.
Hey, do you work at a school, or is this volunteer work? I had a similar situation. I sent professional photography equipment from the US to Libya with my brother for a youth project. It's better not to trust regular mail with things like that because if they break, you won't receive any compensation or explanation. Have you checked if audio equipment needs to be certified for import into Tunisia? In Libya, we had to send an additional certificate from the manufacturer once. In short, there are many nuances, so it's better to read up before shipping.
