The Jone-Waggoner Message of 1888 is the third angel's message
The archives of Ellen White prove that she identified the
Jones-Waggoner Message of 1888 as the third angel's
message.  Ellen White distinguished their message, from all
others, as the message that God commanded to be given to
the world ...

"The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious
message to His people through Elders WAGGONER
AND JONES.  This message was to bring more
prominently before the world the uplifted Saviour, the
sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.  It presented
justification through faith in the Surety;  it invited the
people to receive THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST,  WHICH IS
MADE MANIFEST IN OBEDIENCE TO ALL THE  COMMANDMENTS OF
GOD....This is the message that God commanded to be
given to the world.  It is the third angel's message, which
is to be proclaimed with a loud voice, and attended with
the outpouring of His Spirit in a large measure."
                      (Testimonies to Ministers [1895], pp.91,92.

The previous quote was in 1895.  So, we have solid evidence that
Ellen White consistently endorsed their message for many years.
Her  next quote dates back to the 1888 conference.

"I see the beauty of truth in the presentation of the
righteousness of Christ in relation to the law as the
doctor [WAGGONER] has placed it before us ....That
which has been presented harmonizes perfectly with the
light which God has been pleased to give me during all
the years of my experience."  (Manuscript 15, 1888).

In the Review and Herald of  the same year, July 24, 1888,
EGW defined faith this way:

"You may say that you believe in Jesus, when you have
an appreciation of the  cost of salvation.  You may
make this claim, when you feel that Jesus died for you
on the cruel cross of Calvary; when you have an
intelligent, understanding faith that his death makes it
possible for you TO CEASE FROM SIN, and to
perfect a  righteous character through the grace of
God, bestowed upon you as the purchase of Christ's
      blood."

The  following  testimony is important because Ellen White
confirms that God had given her  the message in a vision;
and, that she and her husband had previously talked about
this teaching prior to 1888.

"When Brother Waggoner brought out these ideas in the
Minneapolis Conference it was the first clear teaching
of the subject FROM ANY HUMAN LIPS  I had
heard, excepting the communication between myself
and my husband.  I have said to myself, it is because
God has presented it to me in vision that I see it so
clearly, and they [the opposing brethren] cannot see it
because they have not had it presented to them as I
have; and when another presented it, every fiber of my
heart said amen."   (Manuscript 5, 1889)

That testimony of Ellen White shows that the 1888 Message
of A. T. Jones and E. J. Waggoner shed new light on the
doctrine of justification by faith.

Ellen White validates their 1888 Message as a message from
God.  It does not matter what Jones and Waggoner said or
did subsequent to 1888.

"It is quite possible that Elder Jones or Waggoner may
be overthrown by the temptations of the enemy; but if
they should be, this would not prove that they had no
message from God, or that the work that they had done
was all a mistake.  But should this happen, how many
would take this position, and enter into a fatal delusion
because they were not under the control of the Spirit of
God....I know that this is the very position many would
take if either of these men were to fall, ..."
                            Letter S-24, 1892.

That is a prophecy that is still being fulfilled today.
Antinomians in the Adventist Church  have found an excuse
for their rebellion against The Commandments of God.
Many Adventists (even in this news group) are opposing the
message of Jones and Waggoner because "it presented
justification through faith in the Surety;  it invited the
people to receive THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF
CHRIST,  WHICH IS  MADE MANIFEST IN
OBEDIENCE TO ALL THE  COMMANDMENTS OF
GOD"  because it demands that a true believer must cease
from willful sin.

All who say Christians commit willful sin "occasionally"
oppose the teaching of Mrs. White.  Those who
intentionally disobey any of the Commandments of God
have not received "The Righteousness of Christ".
Without an obedient faith that is manifested as "a doer of
the word" - they believe like the devils. That is their fatal
delusion!

AND HAVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST."  Rev 12:17 (KJV)
