THE CIRCULAR REASONING OF SOME SDAs

An example of circular reasoning is this:  

All of the writings of Mrs. White are true --because Mrs. White
said that all of her writings were true.

THE INFALLIBILITY OF MRS. WHITE?

"God gave the light on HEALTH REFORM and those who reject
it, REJECT GOD!  Series B, p.205.

"This work is of God, or it is not.  God does nothing in partnership
with Satan.  My work for the past thirty years bears the stamp of
God or the stamp of the enemy.  There is no halfway work in the
matter.  THE TESTIMONIES ARE OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD OR
OF THE DEVIL.  In arraying yourself against the servants of God
you are doing a work either for God or for the Devil.  Testimonies
V4, p.230.

"If you seek to turn aside the counsel of God to suit yourselves, if
you lessen the confidence of God's people in the testimonies He
has sent them, YOU ARE REBELLING AGAINST GOD as
certainly as were Korah, Dathan, and Abiram."  Testimonies V5,
p.66

"There are precious truths in the Bible, BUT IT IS "PRESENT
TRUTH" that the flock needs now."  E.W. p.63

"...the enemy will seek to seduce souls from the truth, but all who
believe that the Lord has spoken through Sister White, and has
given her a message will be safe from the many delusions that will
come in these last days...The positions taken in my books are
TRUTH.  The truth was revealed to us by the Holy Spirit...I am
thankful that THE INSTRUCTION CONTAINED IN MY BOOKS
ESTABLISHES PRESENT TRUTH FOR THIS TIME."

The circular reasoning of Adventism makes a reasonable person
dizzy as we go round and round with the inconsistent testimonies
of Ellen White.

Dear Reader, here you can experience the whirl of the merry-go-
round about

GOING TO DOCTORS

First, she is against it:

If any among us are sick, LET US NOT DISHONOR GOD BY
APPLYING TO EARTHLY PHYSICIANS, but apply to the God
of Israel.  If we follow his directions (James 5:14,15) the sick will
be healed.  God's promise cannot fail...trust wholly in Him."  Ellen
G. White, 1849 broadside - "To those Who are Receiving The Seal
Of The Living God."

Then, only 11 years later, she is for it:

"We believe it to be perfectly right to use the remedies God has
placed in our reach, and if these fail, apply to the Great Phsician,
AND IN SOME CASES THE COUNSEL OF AN EARTHLY
PHYSICIAN IS VERY NECESSARY.  This position we have
always held."  [Always??]  Ellen G. White, Spiritual Gifts 1860,
Vol 2, p.135.

There you are, the Spirit of Prophecy said not to use earthly
physicians; then later, to go ahead and use them.  Which statement
is inspired?

Only God knows how many people have rejected the truth
regarding The Sabbath Commandment because of the absurdities
of Mrs. White.
