We have peace with The Father because Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead for our justification.
The brethren of Christ are those who hear the word of God and DO IT. (See Luke 8:21) These brethren have peace among themselves because Jesus rules their lives. Since Christ is not divided, there are no power struggles among them.
Peace is disturbed when men say "I am of Paul", "I am of Apollos" etc. (Paul said that people who do that are still carnal. (I Cor 3:3-4) Peace is disturbed when men set aside The Commandments of God and the teaching of Jesus to follow the traditions of men.
Our peace continues as we follow these instructions of Peter:
" ... laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, all evil speakings," 1 Peter 2:1
Brethren, we have been called to be a royal priesthood. The evidence of our anointing for the service of God, as kings and priests, is our faith and obedience to God and our love for the brethren.
