Dear Visitor,
Sorry for all the ads; They go with the territory of a 'free' account. Thank you for your interest in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and our place in the La Joya Huanacaxtle complex. (can you say: wanna-cax-lay?) We are confident that you will love this place just as we do.
We went to La Cruz for a six week vacation in January 2010. The thought of acquiring a condo, in Mexico, had not occured to us as we generally travel to various places.
We were thoroughly impressed with the place (the village, the ocean and the La Joya complex). Nice to be in a quiet spot and go to the hustle, bustle and excitement of PV when you feel like it.
We were more than pleased with the facilities, the grounds and the friendly staff.
The owners we met around the pool were exceedingly friendly, welcoming and inclusive. They invited us to join them for all sorts of outings (shopping, dinner, dancing, parties, the beach, etc.). We made some lasting relationships as 'renters'.
We could not help it. We started to consider buying. Well, we extended our vacation by a month, bought our condo and didn't come home until the end of March.
We returned in May/June to take possession and general set-up. Now it is a comfortable and easy spot to be. But, we cannot make use of our place for the entire year for various reasons. If you wish to vacation in the La Cruz area, La Joya condos are exceedingly popular during the winter months. Several owners have repeat customers who rent long-term, each year. We use our condo during winter but you will find that prices (condo, flights, entertainment, food, etc.) are much more attractive during Spring/Summer/Fall.
