AWAKE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS
1Co 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Look and consider this: Part of that church did not know God! Those people who should have been ashamed called themselves Christians.
Even now, counterfeit Christians deny that we can cease to commit willful sin.
Only a theologian, and his protégé can misunderstand the words: "and sin no more"!
Jesus said it, Paul said it and all who know God say it!
"For some of you have not the knowledge of God"
“He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” 1 John 2:4
Today, it is the vast majority of what is called "the church" that does not know God and therefore Jesus does not yet "know" them.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord...And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
That scene will be the fate of all who call Jesus Lord but continue to sin willfully.
