01 Bubba
Update Received January 2009: Here are a couple of pictures of Bubba tonight. He's doing great, I think he's adjusting well, he was pretty high-strung last night--until we sat on the floor with him in front of the fireplace. He settled right down when we were being still. He decided to sleep on the couch in the living room last night, and that's just where he is right now...looking somewhat proud of himself that he has overcome the "no dogs on the couch" rule. He's been pretty good with the kitties, two of the three kitties are still a bit frightened of him, but Conan (my big orange long-hair tabby) likes to watch the new addition--especially when Bubba is begging for food in the kitchen. They have that in common. He's learning "stay" and we're working on "lie down" but that one is really hard...
Just wanted to drop a note to let you know all is well, and my shoulders are getting a great workout from the walks!!
