01 Gryffindor
January 2013:It's been almost a year since we adopted Wallace (formerly Gryffindor), and I thought it'd be nice to give you an update! He's practically a different dog since we adopted him. He warms up quickly to guests in our home if you ignore him and give all your attention and scratches to his brother dog, Zamboni. We've figured out that he gets jealous, and realizes that he'd rather get scratches from a stranger than watching from afar. He's over come his fear of squeaky toys and now obsesses over them to the point of hoarding them around the home! He avoids puddles and soggy grass, yet he *loves* running through the snow at full speed. He really is an affectionate comedian at heart. Thanks for taking him in as a foster and allowing us to adopt him, we couldn't imagine our family without him.
April 2012: Wallace is adjusting well! He and our other dog, Zamboni, are getting along great. We are working on getting Wallace used to strangers (mostly men) and unfamiliar places/things/noises. He has come along way since we adopted him in early Feb, and he has such a sparkling and quirky personality. He's made a great addition to our family, and we're so glad we made the decision to go ahead and adopt him. We're looking forward to seeing his confidence continue to grow and learning more about his personality.
