THE SIN OF WITCHCRAFT

                              THE SIN OF WITCHCRAFT

"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." l Sam 15:23 (KJV)

Anyone who refuses to obey The Commandments of God is in rebellion and whatever keeps him from obeying The Creator is his idol.

Many churchmen believe they have spiritual gifts and call Jesus "Lord" --BUT they do not obey Him. Their rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and their stubborness is as iniquity and idolatry. Jesus said:

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart* from me, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY." [ Greek Anomian ] Matt 7:21-23

* (i.e. depart from me, ye that transgress the law of God.)

Look! Those people had supernatural gifts. They called Jesus "Lord" -- but Jesus never even knew them.

Think about this: If Jesus didn't know them, then, their spiritual gifts were manifestations of witchcraft* and sorcery! All of those people were deceived into believing they were children of God; when they were really children of the devil.

From the time of the apostle John, Christianity has had two groups of people: the children of God and the children of the devil.

1. The children of God: "Whosoever is born of God DOTH NOT COMMIT SIN..." I Jn 3:9

2: The children of the devil: "HE THAT COMMITTETH SIN is of the devil ..." I Jn 3:8

"...Whosoever DOETH NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS is not of God ..." I Jn 3:10
