"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
BELIEVERS HAVE ETERNAL LIFE BUT ...
"He who believes in the Son has eternal life:
But
he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." John 3:36 ASV
Churchmen who intentionally disobey the Son shall not see life because they do not believe in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. They are anti-Christs who refuse to submit to the law of His Kingdom; enemies of God who hide their treason under a cloak of pretended piety when they pray: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Mat 6:10 That is why the wrath of God abides on them.
"For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Hebrews 10:30-31
