MANY CHARISMATIC PREACHERS ARE FALSE PROPHETS
The apostle John said: "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:4
It is a dangerous practice to accept doctrines because signs and wonders follow the teacher. Think about this specific and clear warning of Jesus:
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Matthew 24:24
False prophets are a test (even if their prophecies come to pass.)
"If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams:
for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him." Deuteronomy 13:1-4
The Apostasy is Now! And, most of modern Christianity has already been deceived. Even in the time of the apostles, they were warning the churches about the deceivers who were turning the grace of God into licentiousness. Will you heed Paul's warning to the Thessalonians about the mystery of iniquity [lawlessness]? Will you remember that Paul called the son of perdition: "that man of sin"? ...
"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth*, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" 2 Thessalonians 2:3-11
